Hey there! Welcome to my home on the web! My passion is teaching writing and literature on both the high school and college level, but my dream since childhood has been to be a novelist. I achieved that dream with the publication of So Shelly with Random House in 2011 and Island No. 6 In addition to teaching and writing, I also do public speaking and am available for a variety of occasions.
Although I continue to “peck away” at that next novel, it is in short form nonfiction where I currently find the most joy, where I feel my talents are best spent, and where I am able to most impact readers through my blog postings that provide my takes on the status quo.
I reside with my wife, Julie, in Sandusky, Ohio, along the southern shores of Lake Erie, where I set all of my novels.
